Im Gegensatz zum Nachfolger „COLONY" zeigen sich IN FLAMES hier ähnlich kräftig und düster wie auf ihrem Hammeralbum „CLAYMAN", auch wenn auf diesem Album Drummer Daniel und Bassist Peter noch nicht zum Lineout gehörten.
