Um dieses Album gebührend zu würdigen muss man es in das Gesamtwerk der Pumpkins einordnen...es ist der Nachfolger von den eher rohen (aber ebenso genialen) Werken "Gish" und "Siamese Dreams" und Vorgänger der eher auf Hochglanz polierten Alben "Adore" und "Machina", die mir persönlich nicht mehr so gut gefallen haben, wie deren Vorgänger.
